I was in Chappaqua this morning and stopped by the New Castle Cleaners to leave a copy of my two posts about SSgt. Chay with his parents.
By the way, my blog got over 200 reads yesterday, the most so far this year, almost all I think due to the posts on SSgt. Chay. Here is a list of the search strings that were used to reach my blog yesterday and the number of times they were used :
kyu chay 33
sgt chay 7
sgt.chay 3
kathy chay 3
rss chappaqua 3
Kyu Chay 3
SSGT chay 3
staff sgt chay 3
Hello World program history 3
kyu army 2
It’s noteworthy that most searches involving SSgt. Chay’s name now return my posts among the first listed. I look forward to others taking my place as they write about him and in so doing help to honor his memory.
My post on SSgt. Chay has drawn almost forty reads so far today, the most since just after its posting in late May, making a total of almost 400 views to date.
The search terms people used that resulted in today’s views include the following:
Kyu Hyuk Chay 11
kyu chay 5
sgt kyu chay 4
afghanistan kyu Chay 4
SSG Kyu Hyuk Chay 4
sgt chay 3
The counts are the number of views associated with each search string.
I don’t know what has drawn this increased attention. It is certainly welcome and I write this to share the news with those who continue to help maintain his memory.
