DaveShields and the Tuxer’s Celebrate Spring 2009

Tuxer’s

I worked most of yesterday on my back porch, and will be able to do so all day today thanks to a forecast that says the thermometer will be north of 60 degrees by the afternoon.

I thus asked the Tuxer’s to join for a day of fun and frolic on the back porch, and here is a picture of them, rarin’ to go:

The Tuxer’s are happy since they have survived another winter without one of them becoming prey to their chief predator, the Skua Bird. The Skua bird is to penguins what Microsoft is to Linux.

The newest Tuxer is the large one covering most of the display, the work of my granddaughter Mireya.

Thanks, Mireya, from Grandad! I now know you love penguins, too.
