Yes, I am the son of Swanson Claude Shields and the nephew of your father, Lynwood Shields, after whom I am named.
However, idiot that I am, in part since I get too many spam comments, I accidentally marked your comment as “spam” when I meant to accept it, and so the comment was lost.
Could you please repost the comment?
By the way, I have the notebook that Swanee and Lynn wrote about their joint adventure over seventy years ago. It is one of my most-prized possessions.

I logged into my yahoo mail account last night and was pleased to see the comment from Barb that I had wrongly deleted from within WordPress. Within one mail was Barb’s address and her original comment, so I was able to send an email to Barb giving her my phone number so we could catch up on the news since we last spoke. That was over fifty years ago, so it could be a long call.
I had forgotten that WordPress forwards submitted comments to an email account, so you can do the moderation via email if you wish.
Though this is usually an annoyance in that I have to deal with spam comments twice, it was a godsend in this case.
WordPress continues to impress. It is one of the best pieces of software I have ever seen, due in part,I am sure, to its being open-source.
