I’m getting *lots* of views of my recent post Building your own Linux Ubuntu computer using the ECS GeForce 6100SM-M motherboard.
Most of them come via tuxmachines.org, which posted a link to the post yesterday. I had never heard of this site before but did take a look and it seems to do a good job covering the Linux news beat. More importantly, it has original content that, at least at first glance, is worth a read. See for example How-to Edit Grub.
Since I’m getting so many views I just spent some time revising the post, including the addition of a mini-tutorial on how to assemble all the components to make a working machine.
I see also that this post has been “digged,” via Digg. I believe this is the first on my posts that have been cited in this way.
I just visited Digg and did a search on “building Ubuntu computer” and see I have 20 digg’s to date. See Who Dug Dave’s Post.
By the way, tuxmachines.org is a good example of Drupal in action.
